Precision Jack “EASYG”
Shippou Mould Co., Ltd., a die-cast mold manufacturer based in Tsushima, Aichi, Japan, has developed the precision jack “EASYG.” With just a single hex wrench, users can make height adjustments with 0.01 mm accuracy, making setup faster and safer than ever before.
Traditionally, leveling large workpieces required cranes and shims—a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. By replacing shims with EASYG, operators can reduce crane usage, enhance safety, and cut setup time from 30 minutes to just one minute.
In response to user requests for external setup applications, the second-generation EASYG features a new donut-shaped design. This innovative shape allows the jack to be bolted onto a spacer block (jig), enabling stable external setup of large workpieces while improving efficiency and flexibility.
With over 100 units sold, EASYG is already trusted by manufacturing sites in Japan and abroad. As industries accelerate automation and labor-saving efforts, EASYG stands out as an innovative tool that ensures safe, efficient, and highly precise setup operations.
EASYG (New Ring-Type Model)
The EASYG Ring-Type Model enables anyone to achieve ultra-precise leveling of 0.01 mm (1/100 mm) with ease. With just a single hex wrench, operators can quickly adjust the height of a clamped workpiece—eliminating the need for shims and shortening setup time on the shop floor. This innovative tool is designed to solve common alignment challenges in machining and measurement environments, making setup work faster, safer, and more reliable.
This enhanced model introduces a new ring-shaped structure that allows bolts to pass through the center. This feature enables secure mounting onto spacer blocks or jigs, providing exceptional stability and making the tool ideal for external setups and large workpieces. In addition, its compatibility with Uradome Clamps allows machining not only from the top but also from the side, further expanding tooling flexibility and improving productivity.
The Ring-Type EASYG is backed by proven technology and trusted performance. It is patented (Patent No. 7572021) and has been recognized for its excellence by receiving the 2025 Sokeizai Industry Technology Award (Chairman’s Award) and the Industrial Design Foundation Award.
